Alex buys an apartment in Alanya, forms an LTD and pays the taxes due on the company’s activity. Those steps may support a genuine plan to live and work in Türkiye. They do not, by themselves, grant Turkish citizenship.
Three different things are often confused
1. The general naturalisation route. This route includes five years of continuous residence immediately before applying and several other conditions. The applicant’s intention to settle, income or profession, language ability and other statutory factors are assessed. A home or company can support the picture of settlement, but neither replaces the residence period.
2. Buying an ordinary home. A standard apartment purchase does not automatically create a citizenship entitlement. The official citizenship authority lists acquiring property, starting a business and working with a permit as examples of conduct that can show an intention to settle. That is different from meeting every eligibility requirement.
3. The qualifying real-estate investment route. Türkiye’s Investment Office describes a separate exceptional process for a property purchase worth at least USD 400,000, with the required declaration and a three-year restriction on resale recorded in the title process. The property and transaction must satisfy the current rules and verification steps. A lower-priced or ordinary purchase does not qualify simply because the buyer lives in the home. See the Investment Office’s official real-estate citizenship guidance.
What do company and tax records do?
Tax and accounting records help document that an LTD is operating and may support evidence of the applicant’s profession or means of support. They are not a substitute for a valid work permit, the required residence history or a citizenship decision. A foreign owner must receive separate approval to work in the company.
For Alex, the sensible order is to confirm the company-partner work-permit rules, keep his residence and travel records, and later check the general naturalisation conditions. Read the company-owner route in Alanya, how work permits fit into the residence period and the application checklist.
